Wagon!
Lizzy got a wagon from grandma and grandpa Bishop. She loooooooooves it. If she sees it on our way out to take a walk, she demands a wagon ride instead of a normal walk.
Family pictures
We couldn’t pass up the opportunity for some pictures in front of the tree.
Pause for snack
Snack time is important when you’re a tiny tookums.
Unwrapping
This year, Lizzy really “got it” with the unwrapping presents. She had some help opening and she also helped other people open theirs.
Bow on her head
Lizzy enjoyed spending a lot of Christmas morning with a bow on her head. Though, she didn’t enjoy being laughed at.
Table time
Mommy and Daddy got Lizzy a little table to sit and play at. She seemed to like it and has played with it quite a bit since she got it. She’s also enjoyed her new popper.
Awe
Lizzy was in total awe of the pile of presents under the tree.
Christmas jammies
I love the tradition of giving pajamas on Christmas Eve to wear on Christmas morning, so we’ve started doing it. Lizzy loved opening hers with grandma Bishop’s help.
Hiding things
One of Lizzy’s favorite things to do right now is put things in other things. Blocks in baskets, shoes in the shoe bin, toys in the buckets. Or, in this case her jacket in her shopping cart toy.
Reading to daddy
Lizzy loves books. She spends hours bringing us books to read to her. This weekend, she took a turn “reading” to daddy.
